The Bright Side of Life

September 13, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Today I joined my fellow thespians in the Arts Walk Santa Clara 5K fun walk held in Central Park.  My team raised money for the Festival Theatre Ensemble, the troupe that produces the Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival.  Founder and Artistic Director, Bruce De Les Dernier and I led our quest.  And in the spirit of fun and frivolity I played “Patsy” to Bruce’s “King Arthur” while the rest of our crew marched behind.  It was a great afternoon and we raised $4,370 for FTE.  Huzzah! Treasure Island at Bus Barn Stage Company

treasure-Island

I have begun rehearsals for Treasure Island  – It’ll be my first experience with the Bus Barn Stage Company and I’m enjoying the director, fight choreographer and cast.  Treasure Island is a classic  by Robert Louis Stevenson and who doesn’t enjoy a tale about swashbucklers and their sinister search for gold!

The show will run from September 3rd through October 3rd.  I’ll be playing Tom Morgan and Ezekial Howard.
